The CMHP BOARD

After reaching 25 accredited members the founders board of the CMHP has been replaced by the first elected council. The CMHP would like to thank all of the founders for their hard work in establishing the CMHP as a credible organisation.

Celia Feetam is a freelance Psychiatric Pharmacist. Before she became self-employed in 1985, Celia worked for ten years as Principal Pharmacist in Psychiatry for South Birmingham Health Authority at Rubery Hill Hospital and then provided a pharmacy service to the Woodbourne Priory Hospital, one of eight private acute psychiatric units belonging to the Priory Group.She is course tutor for the Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in Psychiatric Pharmacy at Aston University. She was UKPPG Treasurer from 1995 to 2000, Vice Chairman (1999-2001), conference organiser, and a whole load of other things too. As a result she was awarded the Chairman's award in 2001 for a lifetime achievement in psychiatry, completed two years as Chairman in October 2003 and retired from the committee in October 2004, to stand for, and be elected to, the CMHP Board. She became President in 2005.

In her spare time, she acts as an occasional consultant in psychiatric pharmacy to the Pharmaceutical Industry, the Private Sector and the NHS. She also does voluntary work for a psychiatric hospital in Romania. Celia is interested in all aspects of psychiatry but particularly in eating disorders, alcohol and substance misuse, anxiety and resistant depression.
