- Protocol for the supervised administration of medication within a pharmacy department, prepared, with legal advice from the Trust's solicitors, in response to a request from a CMHT who wnted to discharge a patient into the community who needed close supervision with taking his medication. He lived nearby, but was unwilling to come to our day hospital to be supervised. However, he was willing to attend pharmacy. This supervision of medication administration worked successfully for some 6 months until no longer necessary, following transfer to an assertive community team. (John Woolven, 3.01)
